Welcome to Remedial Reading! I team teach this class with  Mrs. McKinley. We are veteran teachers of this class having taught together  for the past  six years. You will be in a small-group setting with one teacher and  five  other students.  For half of the class period,  you will be involved in  a guided reading segment with students with similar reading levels and experiences as yourself.  The other half of the class period, you will be  reading fiction or nonfiction selections that have been specially selected for you.  This is a  class that directly supports the Engllsh language arts curriculum.  Many of our students increase their reading levels and pass the Ohio Graduation Test due to the extra help that you will receive in this class.  Good luck to you!  It will be exciting to explore literature and to increase your vocabulary and writing skills.
