EARLY DISMISSAL on Friday, May 2:

                12:45 – Non-bus students dismissed from west parking lot

                12:50 – Bus students dismissed as buses arrive

                (Students will have lunch at school before dismissal.)

PTC FAMILY GAME NIGHT will be held from 6:00 – 7:15 PM on May 1.  All students must be accompanied by an adult.  Come enjoy some family time playing games, sharing refreshments and winning some nifty door prizes.

CONGRATULATIONS TO BUS RIDERS AND DRIVERS of buses #4, 5, 15 who have earned the April Blue Ribbon for safety and appropriate behavior on bus.

CONGRATULATIONS TO AMBER DICKEY (Gr. 5) who was recognized as the April Student of the Month by the Conneaut Chamber of Commerce.

PARENTS OF FIFTH GRADERS who are interested in helping with the Fifth Grade Farewell should contact the following committee chairpersons: Decorations – Missy Colucci (599-8336) and Amy Harris (593-4854), Refreshments – Colleen Porfilio (594-1046) and Nancy Herb (599-7779), Gift Bags / Donations– Tammy Hagstrom (599-7455) and Staci Brink (593-1122), Certificates –Karen Eddy (599-2439) and Amy Lower (599-9112).

SUMMER FUN EXPO featuring JUNGLE TERRY IS COMING TO GATEWAY ON MAY 13^TH, at 6:00 – 7:30 PM.  The animal show will be 6:30 – 7:00 PM.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Families should arrive early to browse through all of the displays that will offer a wide variety of summer activities for youngsters in the Conneaut area.  The PTC will provide refreshments. The Book Fair will also be open that evening.

REQUESTS BY PARENTS REGARDING A CHILD’S PLACEMENT IN A PARTICULAR TEACHER’S CLASS  (Gr. 3,4,5 only) for next school year must be submitted in writing to Mr. Lutes or Mrs. Zappitelli by June 4.  All written requests that are submitted by June 4 will be considered, however the principals reserve the right to decline requests. Requests for placement received after June 4 WILL NOT be considered.

ALL OUTSTANDING CHARGES ARE DUE NOW.  CURRENT CHARGE BILLS HAVE BEEN SENT HOME WITH STUDENTS AND/OR THROUGH THE MAIL.
